Deadbolts - WiFi

For those who prioritize both security and connectivity in their homes, WiFi-enabled deadbolts are the way to go. These advanced locking mechanisms offer homeowners the ability to control and monitor their door locks remotely using a smartphone or other connected devices. With the integration of WiFi technology, users can receive real-time notifications about the status of their locks, grant temporary access to guests, and even lock or unlock their doors from anywhere in the world. This level of control and convenience is especially beneficial for those who frequently travel or have multiple properties. Additionally, the integration with other smart home systems allows for a more seamless and holistic home automation experience. For instance, one can set up scenarios where the lights turn on when the door is unlocked after sunset. The possibilities are vast, and as technology continues to evolve, the features and functionalities of these WiFi-enabled deadbolts are only expected to expand. When choosing such a deadbolt, it's essential to consider compatibility with existing smart home systems, ease of installation, and the reputation of the brand. Investing in a quality WiFi-enabled deadbolt can provide both peace of mind and a touch of modern sophistication to any home.

This is a really great key code entry set up. However, they really need to work on the directions on how to connect the correct app to download. It was very confusing and took way longer than it should have. It was kind of like reading between the lines to figure out how to make this thing work, and which app to download. The directions are so tiny. You can’t even see what they’re trying to show and it was showing the wrong app. You want to download the Yale Access App (US & Canada). Now that it’s all connected and working, it’s really amazing and I love that I can use my phone to lock and unlock when I’m off site and have maintenance guys that need to get in.
